Alarm points are a set of amphoteric points located along the anterior midline and lower rib cage of
the body. These points are both diagnostic and therapeutic. Tenderness on light palpation on any of
these points indicates a deficiency in that energy system, tenderness on firm palpation shows excess
energy in the coorsponding meridian system. Any stimulation applied to these points will be used by
