Posture How you hold yourself while sitting, lying, standing, walking or exercising has a lot to do with how you feel. Gravity is a never ending force that is trying to drag you down. Proper posture is our only defense against this persistent force. So sit up straight and feel great! Water The lubricant and coolant all in one. Water increases mobility while cooling the aches. Drinking 8-10 glasses per day will improve so many aspects of your life I couldn't begin to list them all here. Nutrition You are what you eat, or better yet you are only as healthy as the food you eat. Since the body is constantly rebuilding itself you must keep providing the proper building materials to keep it strong, stable and secure. Exercise Exercise is the pump that keeps the life forces moving inside you. Simply by getting your heart rate up to around 140 beats per minute for 20 minutes at a time 3-4 times per week you will improve both quality and quantity of your life. Sleep Giving your body time to reset itself and restore proper chemical and emotional balance is extremely important to keeping a good connection between your mind, body and spirit. |
